Artist Information
Red Mansueto (b. 29 August 1944, Malate, Manila) is a Filipino artist whose practice spans painting, experimental work, and other visual disciplines shaped by a long engagement with abstraction and the environment. His work reflects a distinctly personal visual language informed by observation, memory, and a sustained sensitivity to how people inhabit space and live within changing surroundings.
He earned his Bachelor in Fine Arts, major in Advertising, from the University of the East School of Music & Fine Arts. Beyond painting, Mansueto’s professional background has included work as a graphic designer, art director, and documentary TV/video director-producer, extending his visual thinking across both fine art and applied creative practice.
For Chelra Art’s clients, Mansueto’s works offer expressive depth, atmosphere, and a strong sense of lived experience—qualities well suited to private collections, residences, and thoughtfully designed interiors.
